Introduction of Our Laboratory
This page is now under construction: the following is introduction of our laboratory's previous reseach.
About current research, please refer to JAPANESE version page (translated version by Google is here , although it's imperfected).
However, about research themes for each staff member, please refer from here (MEMBER's page) .
We in the System Safety Laboratory engage in education and research on evaluation, maintenance and management of the safety of structures and systems such as transportation equipment.
We also develop sensors for measuring dynamic properties such as forces, deformations, vibrations, etc. as applications of piezoelectric materials, and study non-destructive inspection technology for structures.
We also train our students and have them engage in research on numerical analysis methods that they will need to carry out structural analyses or analyses of electromagnetic fields as professionals working in the real world.
